I am considering getting/building a CMoy amp for my mini and Grados/Shures. I feel that the Grados are just missing some bass and some power. Will I see a noticeable gain with the amp? I'm looking at one that has ~15 db amplificiation.

It won't make much of a difference, and for the price the cMoys are on eBay you might as well upgrade the headphones instead.

If you're building it yourself, then go for it.. it's like $20-$30 said and done, which isn't too bad
