Ok ive read tangents artical and Chu Moys artical on the Cmoy amp and it seems from Chu Moy's that there are two op-amps one for each channel. And on tangents theres only one amp for both channels. Is tangents a one channel amp or is it a two channel amp?

Both amps are 2 channel stereo, but Chu Moy's tutorial uses 2 single channel opamps, while Tangent uses 1 dual channel opamp. Tangent's tutorial and layout is a little easier and more compact.

And should i put heatshrink on the bottom of the board so nothing shorts out when it touches the tin?

You can either use Electrical tape or a thin piece of mylar or plastic on the bottom of the tin, but yes you should put something there.

put electrical tape on the bottom of your tin and you'll be fine, I do it with all of mine and I haven't had any problems.

I used to use electrical tape to insulate the amp board from the tin can. This works real good, but there is a greater chance of a short in case the board stabs through the tape (which can easily happen). Now, i either use a piece of thin plastic hot-glued to the bottom of the board. Also, what ive been using more recently, is headers, which i snip into single piece and solder them on the 4 corners of the board, beats tape and plastic.
