Is it just my imagination or can different batteries in a cmoy amp change the sound...

I'd been using some low mha rechargeables and decided to buy some higher mha ones and I reckon with the new ones in the amp doesn't sound as good...

What qualities should a battery have for a cmoy or is it all in my head?

I have noticed that as my rechargeables lose a tad of their charge it begins to sound a bit edgy or different.  So there may be something to that.

Right now I'm running a MUSES01 op amp with two batteries in series and it sounds like heaven for a few hours then gets a tad edgy or distorted.

MUSES01 with two fat batteries is AMAZING in a CMOYBB
