Have to take a bus to get to school for the first time... missing my bike, but trying not to annoy people, so I need some closed phones.
The only cans I've spent serious time with are my Sony CD-780's (running them now off of an av710, sweet!). They strike me as a little lacking in the bass dept., but otherwise very nice.
Can I replicate this quality with closed phones or earbuds? It seems like the Sharp MD-33 or A500 are two popular choices in the different categories.
I'd rather not spend more than $100, although if something goes for that used on ebay, that's fine too.
Other random concern: if the phones of freakin huge like my 1700earmuffs, or else really small, so I can wear a hat, that would be good, have heard it gets cold in Pittsburgh.
