I've been using E4c's on my portable rig Sony NW HD5 + Minibox E for a while and I've been fairly happy with them sound-wise. The problem is that I've had two ear infections (ewwww!!) I've had in the last 12 months and I doubt that stuffing things in my ear canal is helping. Consequently, I'm looking to replace them with some closed cans. Any suggestions? I spend a lot of time on planes and trains so I want something with good isolation. I like the folding design of DT660s - does anyone know how they sound with a portable amp?
