I owned hd 25 1 and was pretty satisfied but I've got bored with hd 25 over time( 6 years) .
Need a 'phone that sounds good with drum and bass,dubstep(aggressive sound in your face type,decent mids with fast deep punchy bass), used for mixing, modestly amped with dj mixer (ecler).

I ve looked into
srh 840 good but laid back sound
ultrasone pro 750 need a serious amp
ultrasone pro 650, hifi 680 metallic sound with recessed mids
ultrasone hifi 780(boosted high and low end) dont wanna change the cable
german maestro (no pay pal in my country) and shipping would be a problem

So, any suggestion is welcome

Take a look at a pair of Denon D2000.

Some of the Audio-Technica line might be worth a look too. It's a colored sound, though, and I'm not sure how readily available it is where you are.
