What are some of the best sounding closed cans that are about the size of Grado SR-60/SR-225 etc.. that I could take to the library and plug into my laptop? Non goofy looking headphones are a +1!!!

Edit: Would anyone vouch for the HD 280 pros by Senn? How big are they?

Not me... IMHO the 7506 is a better match.... in every way possible. it folds into a ball and is smaller than grado when folded.

The Stax SR50 is actually smaller than a Grado, but you need an electrostatic amp for them.
