They're discontinued so the price will be all over the place. Realistically, they should be $200 or less at this point but since supply is done, I guess the price went back up. Bummer, I just sold mine to a buddy for pretty cheap. lol

For quite some time, a headphone that defines your parameters
has been the Sennheiser HD25 1 II.
Very solid, very durable. Relatively small, yet comfortable
earcups/earpads. Excellent at cutting out any ambient noise.
And the SQ is very good - one of the reasons they're around
year after year.

Since it seems that you're not entirely set on your spending limit,
I wanted to put these into the mix.
