So I am currently running a Little Dot I+ and some AD700s and I would like to get a pair of headphones that will be good for games and movies. The AD700s are great for FPS to help figure out where people are, but they are not the best for immersion. I am gonna run the Little Dot I+ on a Little Dot DAC when I can get a chance to get one. That leaves me with $250 to buy the headphones. Right now I am looking at some HFI-780s or maybe some D2000s and doing a markl mod to the D2000s. Any suggestions? Which closed can will likely be the best? Thanks!

I really enjoy the Beyerdynamic DT250 80 ohm. Can't comment on the D2000 or HFI-780 other than the D2000 can have slightly recessed mids and some harshness in the highs (from what ive read).

Between the Proline 750 and the AH-D2000, both of which I enjoyed, I preferred the AH-D2000. However, I cannot comment on how well the LD I+ can drive the Denon.

I'll second the DT-250, only I'd suggest checking out the 250 ohm model.
