I'm really happy with my HD660S but I need something that doesn't leak, obviously a closed headphone won't have the same openness but I would like something with a similar signature overall when it comes to mids and bass.
I haven't tried the DT1770 Pro but I like the DT770 Pro 250.

Anyone have any suggestions? I would like it to be in the $500 range if possible.

I own the DT770 Pro (80-Ohm & 250-Ohm), but I would guess the Soundmagic HP150/HP151 would be a better choice.

I'm not sure, but DT1990 was pretty similar to HD660, albeit 660 has forward mids VS 1990 which had brighter treble. As a guess DT1770? Since you like the 770. And going from DT990 Pro to DT1990 was quite a bit of the same, just more of the quality.
