My Clip+ is in MSC mode, and whenever I plug it into my PC, I get a message reading

SansaUpdater.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive
\Device\Harddisk1\DR1.

 
I have to clear/continue the error message 10 times before it will go away. Uninstalling SansaUpdater seems to get rid of the pop up, but then I have no access to firmware, etc.
 
Anyone familiar with this issue? Been looking around and found others asking about the same thing

Get rid of the Sansa updater. Update the firmware manually. It is easy. Just follow the instructions. http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Sansa-Clip-Sansa-Clip/Sansa-Clip-Firmware-Update-01-02-16/td-p/150227
