Hello,

I am on the prowl for some closed headphones.
Really looking for something that brings out voices in TV shows and videos.

Looking for:

Good Isolation (passive)
Good clarity
Easy to listen to at lower volumes
Comfortable
Priced around $100 (will go up to around $150 if it's worth it)
Not bass/treble heavy
Not harsh
Lightweight

Pluses:
Detachable cable
Replaceable earpads

Hope you guys can help me find the best headphone for my needs, otherwise Ill be stuck with my HD 202s. Thanks in advance.

  Brainwavz hm5, Sennhesier hd598....

I tried the HD 598cs and was not a fan so I ordered the NVX XPT100s instead of the HM5s. I do enjoy the sound of the NVXs, however they seem to be too heavy for me and create to much pressure on the top of my head.

  Audio Technica ATH-M40

I was considering these but ordered the NVX XPT100 instead. The M40s appear to be the same weight as the NVX so I don't think they would be comfortable for me.

I like how the XPT100s sound, but they are too heavy and create to much pressure on my head. I heard the MDR-7506 are harsh, but they are lighter. Would these be a good choice or is the harshness too much?

XPT100 vs MDR 7506 vs AKG K271 MKII vs ???

Really looking for something that brings out the voices in TV shows and videos.
