Hello everyone,

I've had my Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's for quite some time now and I think that it's time for a cleanin'! I heard after you clean the velour it becomes way more comfortable and sounds better somehow.

So how exactly should I do this? With Google, I came up with half of the people saying I should wipe them down with a damp cloth, and the other half of the people saying I should soak them in warm water and let them air dry.

What do?

For my velour pads (not HD25), I just apply some washing detergent (febreze lol) and then squish them in water. Following that I blow dry them. I don't think there's a special soap or method to cleaning ear pads. Just don't be too rough or use very strong detergent on them. You don't want to use softeners either. They'll leave your pads smelling too clean for weeks.
