How the heck do you clean the front of an AV receiver and make it spotless w/o wiping all the screened lettering on the front of it?????
 
Mines got too many prints from plugging headphones in and basically using it w/o the remote....

$3 bottle of 99% isopropanol from any pharmacy solves your problem I believe. Just don't drink it.

So 99% isopropyle Alcohol WILL NOT remove the screen printing off the front of the receiver?

As mentioned, dishwashing liquid and water should do the trick nicely.  Personally, I would feel slightly hesitant using isopropyl alcohol  Just incase of stripping paint etc.

So what would a good ratio of soap to water be????  Like a drop of soap (concentrated Dawn) to like a cup of water??

WD40 has given good results personally when cleaning brushed aluminium faceplates.
