Hi folks, I've been listening to a LittleDot II+ and the headphone out on my CityPulse 7.2x with clock upgrade.
The question is:
Does anyone know if a retube/recap or tweaks to the LittleDot II+ will improve soundstage? Have you had/compared the citypulse headphone out to the littledot?

I'm somewhat miffed as when using my AKG701's it seems like there's more "soundstage" or spacial information about instrument location from the Citypulse. The LittleDot is definitely warmer and "has more ring" but has some of what I'd call speakers pressed up against the wall sound (flat soundstage).
sound chain is:
flac - SoundBlaster 24bit external - monarcy dip 24/96 -citypulse - littledot
Usually Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck or Cinematic Orchestra for soundstage testing.
