That's right. Another band that I must tell everyone about. I believe they are French and from Canada. Their music types are defined as: circus music, soundtrack, worldbeat, ethnic fusion, and new age. Their music is very unique and deserves to be tried.

About them
Best album (imo)

Keep in mind that I will only recommend bands that I think stand out and are exceptional in their genre.

Google, man... Google. It exists for a reason.

So? Why would I care if they are a circus if I like their music? Besides, that doesn't at all take away from the fact that they are incredible musicians. Btw, I already knew.

And yes, google is a search engine. And it does exist for a reason. People use it to find information by typing in keywords at the main screen. They are then presented with a list of websites /or webpages that relate to the keywords.

Yo, everyone calm down. The people on the CD are a band... that's with the circus.

Seen them four or five times. Really liked them in the past and for those with Bravo, there was/is a reality show about training for Cirque. Heard their newest show in Vegas is billed as "the other side of Cirque du Soleil". They've gone topless, etc. One character evidently sings about why sex is wrong, chastity is best, whatever, then ahh... has "fun" with a cow. Hope it's better than it sounds.

Yeah I love Cirque's music. I've seen only one show, but my friend has all their albums. She likes Quidam best. I only have a mix she made for me, so I can't make a reco.

Their shows almost always incorporate many different languages, which is wonderful to hear sung.

The new show seems interesting. Some of the water stuff looks good, much of the other stuff seems less so. The best part is the seating. You can get love seats, and deluxe love seats etc. Check the site if you are curious.

I'm too busy gaping at the acrobatics to have any idea what the music is like. Some of those balancing acts, and dropping themselves from ropes and stuff is insane. So, what's it like?

Cirque du Soleil is crazy!... And it's from Québec! (WEEEE!!). Makes me proud to see them
go all over the world and be so popular. I've seen their show 'Alegria' and 'Varekai'
and I can sincerely say that they are amazing. The acrobats are incredible, the music is awesome
the 'story' is entertaining, the costumes & makeup are beautiful and wild.. They just have the
whole package!

I listened to a couple of the shows they aired about the lives of a couple
of their artists and I thought it was really good. It was about the making of Varekai and it made
me appreciate the show much more when I saw it for real. They have some really talented people
and they do a darn good job putting up their shows!
