Hi,

I'm looking for a full-size circumaural headphone which could replace my CX 300 II's, considering I find a large headphone with band more portable than the wire-y IEM. Also, durability is an issue with IEM's of the CX 300 price range. (€50 as I purchased it)

The issue I've come across, is that an IEM seemingly has better sound quality, at least in this price range afaik.
So, is there a headphone that beats the CX at this price range? (I know of IEM's easily beating the CX, but hey.)

I like the CX's bass - a little less is fine, although I'd like some more mids as well.
Main equalizer setting for media players is Rock, maybe that's something useful for you.
Especially the iPod's one, even though it'll soon end up in someone else's hands, I don't like iDevices anymore. ;P

Key importances: Warm rock sound, durable, price range up to €100 though preferred closer to €50, sleek look.
Circumaural, or hybrid circumaural/supraaural (only upper part of ear in the cup).

Is my wish too much to hope, or is it actually realisable? ;P

Thanks in advance for the help!
