After reading a bit and testing out many different excellent universal IEMS (XBA-40, DUNU-DN1000, T-PEOs H300), it makes me wonder how big of a jump is the quality of a CIEM. The one I'm looking at is the JH16 with FP. Considering the cost and time for waiting for an item like this, how different/improved is the SQ itself? Is it due to the customized seal of the IEM, the amount of drivers or all of the above? Now I know the standard response is subjective, and that the cost of a CIEM varies on how much you yourself value music. But for those who made the jump from universals to CIEMs, was it worth it?
