Hi guys,
Need some recommendation for a CIEM. It's not for myself, but for my gf.
She's currently using a reshelled TF10 along with a Fiio X3 player.
I'm about to upgrade her player to an X5 + E12, so next comes the CIEM upgrade.
It'll have to satisfy the following conditions:
- Be very comfortable. Her ears ache quite easily, and her current TF10s were reshelled by a local DIYer so the build and comfort were obviously not optimal
- Not have too many drivers. Being female, her ears are obviously smaller than usual, so an 8 driver per side will likely not fit into a shell that is small enough for her ears
- Have good bass. No recessed mids. Highs not sibilant. Clear and detailed. Not too upfront presentation. She listens mostly to contemporary pop music. The likes of Bastille, One Direction, Calvin Harris e.t.c. K-pop and some classical as well.
- Be forgiving of lesser source material
- Not too expensive. Budget of around $400 USD max.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
