I'm currently on a search to find a pair of CIEMs that are similar to the HD800s in clarity and soundstage. I know that this can't be fully achieved but I would at least like to get as close as I can. After much research I think I've narrowed it down to two choices, the JH13 Pro and the Ultimate Ears Reference Monitors.
I'm a lover of a cold, neutral sounding IEM that has lots of clarity and great imaging. From what I have read the JH13s have better clarity, a larger soundstage and a bassier signature. What I'm worried about is that the JH13s are too bassy and that I may not like the "fun" signature.
So if you can compare the JH13, UERMs and HD800s to each other then that would be much appreciated.
