I emailed CIA about a week ago, asking if it were possible to get this DAC shipped to the UK, but so far - no response. Has anyone had any experience with shipping from them before; or does anyone know where you can purchase this DAC in the UK?

I just sent him an email on Sunday, and got a response on Monday. I would send him another email. He may have just overlooked it.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you.

I'm pretty sure Dusty (I think thats the guy's name) Sends the DAC directly to you. But you will have to buy the Vac-1 Power supply in order to use the VDA-2 with 220v. The VDA-2 only supports 110v. Thats the main reason I didn't go for a VDA-2 ):

Well I had planned on getting the VAC-1 anyway as I heard it increases sound quality by about 10-20%.

I just got a reply back quoting $839 for the VDA-2 and VAC-1 shipped to the UK

You'll have to pay import duties and VAT if you buy direct from CIA US though and that'll be at least 20-30% of the $700-800 value.
