Im looking for an amp to drive my beyerdynamic dt880's, im going to have it hooked up to my macbook. Im not looking for something super expensive as i dont think id be able to hear the difference. People have recomended me the little dot mkIII before, i just wanted to make sure that it is still the best bang for buck i can get? Im also probably looking for a tube amp as ive been told that the dt880 do very well tube amplified....

Edit: or was it the mk I+ that was recommended... I cant remember, fewer tubes would make it a lot easiwr though

'foges', you absolutely cannot go wrong with the MKIII. The sonic capabilities and possibilities of this wondrous head amp/line preamp are utterly amazing! As far as the MK I+ goes, make sure it is made to drive your type of headphones if you are seriously considering it. David at 'Little Dot' is a real gentleman to deal with, and is very knowledgeable and customer oriented. BTW, i'd go with tubes. Tubes = magic.
