Looking to upgrade from my current Oppo HA-2 (1st gen) and I'm basically looking for the best portable dac/amp in the under $500 pricepoint. My 2 picks are the chord mojo and RHA L1

I will mainly listen via my MacBook Pro using Tidal Lossless audio, so I don't care much about the Mojo's 768khz sampling, etc. I'm actually leaning towards the RHA L1 for it's ability to tweak the bass and treble very significantly, which I think is awesome!!

From what I've read, the RHA seems to have better soundstage, but the Mojo has more lush mids. I'm just hoping that the RHA doesn't sound "thin" in comparison. I use mostly IEM's, but also an HD 650, so nothing too too power hungry, so the fact that the Mojo is more powerful doesn't matter to me. I would care more about things like noise floor, hiss, and good dynamic range at low gains/volumes (for sensitive IEM's)

Any thoughts about these 2, or any dac/amp recommendations besides the above?

Thanks!!
