So after sitting in a drawer for a long time, I decided to use them one day and realized how bad the USB noise coming from my phone was when using an OTG cable connected directly into the Mojo.

On top of that, whenever the phone gets near the device, I also get interference noises leaking through the unit and into my headphones (LCD-4z).

Switching my phone (S10) to airplane mode seems to solve the problem but since all my listening is done through Spotify, that's really not an option.

Does anyone else have this issue? If so, how does one get around it?

Yeah had same interference issue. Ended up trying the IFi Micro Signature. The interference was still there but a lot less. If one puts a leather wallet between the IFi amp and cell phone, noise is not noticeable.

Some audio products meant for digital activities might pick up some noise from a smartphone, but that shouldn't be an issue once there's music. That said, smartphones vary in how much noise they propagate outside, but we didn't get any complaints about S10 specifically.

I have made my own cables always. Always very precarious making a proper grounded cable, and have never had any of these problems! I made the very first cable here from the iPod to the external battery powered amplifier, and never experience any problems, noise or otherwise! and this cable is still good!

I have the same experience, both with a cable direct from iPhone to Mojo and using Poly, which has a much higher noise. In my case, noise lowers substantially if you reduce the volume in the Mojo to the minimum and use the phone for that.

Sorry, I can not find it!
It was a cheap , Chinese made cable, and it has not given me any noise problems!
I never made an OTG USB cable by myself, only line signal cables, and never had any sounds / whining heard from the connected amplifiers.
But I know many had, and many misinformation given about grounding on these short cables!
