Hello,

I have an iPhone 8 and use the Chord Mojo with the cord that it came with connected to the official Apple camera adaptor, and more than half of this time that I try using this setup, the phone does not recognize the Mojo and the music plays through the phone speaker instead of the headphone connected to the Mojo. Once it actually is working, if I move the Mojo or the phone it will often stop working. This is obviously unusable as a portable rig.

Is this a known problem?

Are there any solutions to it?

PS: the same thing happens when it is connected to my iPad.

I bought this (the short one) and have had no issues going from my IPad 7th Gen to Chord Mojo

I used the chord that @ScornDefeat recommended, and, to my ears, it sounds way worse than the chord that comes with the chord mojo+apple camera adapter Everything sounds so harsh and congested with this chord. I never thought that chords really matter, but...

FWIW.. The headphones I use are the Beyerdynamic's 1990 Pros and Campfire Audio's Atlas.
