4) Galvanic usb isolation.
In the image I have highlighted what appears to be a new module with USB-B and USB-C input and given the desktop purpose, it will probably be galvanically isolated.

Save for the EQ, Mojo2 basically has borrowed ideas from Hugo2!I mean, what’s to say that they couldn’t introduce Hugo 3 at a slightly higher price point so as not to cannibalise sales and keep selling Hugo 2? It’s obvious that they are able to squeeze even more SQ out of their designs given the advancements that Mojo 2 had introduced so why not stay ahead of the market even further and not rest on their laurels?
I’m sure people were saying the same thing about Hugo 1 and Mojo 1Save for the EQ, Mojo2 basically has borrowed ideas from Hugo2!
- the better bass by replacing a coupling capacitor with a servo.
- true desktop mode and better PSU.
- different filters
all from Hugo2. Hugo2 is good enough not to need SQ upgrades.
Facilities? perhaps.
The EU forces ridiculous regulations on people, the companies still make the money regardless. Micro USB has enough bandwidth to cover its purpose and is not an issue for some peopleI would hope they would be working at least on a Mk2 since I think the EU regulation regarding charging ports would also apply to DACs and amps.

DACs are not included in the legislationI would hope they would be working at least on a Mk2 since I think the EU regulation regarding charging ports would also apply to DACs and amps.

You are correct. It only applies to radio equipment. The DAC is not radio equipment.DACs are not included in the legislation
You are correct. It only applies to radio equipment. The DAC is not radio equipment.
But the 2Go is and therefore it will require an update next year.
this is not exactly the case, the European directive describes exactly which devices where the USB-C port is mandatory and does not refer to all radio devicesHugo2 has really old Bluetooth, does that make it count as a radio equipment?
https://chordelectronics.co.uk/new-suzi-concept-amplifier-unveiledLooking forward to see what small audio device they will release at Munich high end show this week. A battery free dongle amp dac was mentioned a while ago. That will be amazing.
I read the proposal and that's not what it says.this is not exactly the case, the European directive describes exactly which devices where the USB-C port is mandatory and does not refer to all radio devices
"Such as" should mean that these are only meant as examples not as the conclusive list of devices covered by the directive.(6) The interoperability between radio equipment and accessories such as chargers is hampered
as there are different charging interfaces for certain categories or classes of radio equipment
that use wired charging such as handheld mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras,
headphones or headsets, handheld videogame consoles, portable speakers, e-readers,
keyboards, mice, portable navigation systems, earbuds and laptops.
