Class D amp, you might have a chance.
Class A, not so much.
All to do with heat dissipation .

Mass Kobo 428 is almost exactly same as Hugo2 and slightly smaller than Hugo2Go.

You only have to look at the figures on my Krell amplifier. Its power output 250WPC but its power supply is 2.5 kW. In hot weather I direct a cold air fan towards its cooling fins. That is the excess power you need for class A and the Evolution 2250 is modified class A rather than pure Class A.

Both will be second hand only but well recommended. I used to have the Topping and I still have the Amptastic.

Cayin C9 is also roughly same size as Hugo2Go, and in case makes a nice mini-desktop set-up. Also pairs marvellously well on the sound front.

If they work, there would be no audio performance change.
If one occasionally works, that's another matter.
Changing digital cables and converters have no audible change.
Save your money.
