Hi folks,

I'm looking for some choral music recommendations. After searching through this forum for recommendations and not finding anything I like I thought I would create a thread for little 'ole me.

To play the "if you like this, then you like that" game I'll list the pieces I like:

- "Lux Aeterna", Morten Lauridsen
- Opus 37 (Vespers), Rachmaninov
- Symphony No. 3, Gorecki
- "Spem in alium", Tallis

I would be over the moon to find more pieces like "Lux Aeterna". All suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

If you like Lauridsen, you should check out (unless you already have) the choral output of Eric Whitacre, one of the hottest names in choral music today. There is a wonderful disc on Hyperion by a vocal ensemble named Polyphony conducted by Stephen Layton that contains, among other works, the very popular works "Water Night" and "Lux Aurumque".
