I'm doing an upgrade of my pc, and I just need a soundcard with the DDL for my pair of Astro A40 and the mixamp.
I don't have a specific budget, but I wouldn't go over the price of the SB-ZxR...
So you take the ZxR, u wil say, but I think it's too useless for me because I'm not an audiophile.
What sound card would you recommend for my use?

Should be able to find these (used) on eBay.

Turtle Beach Montego II DDL.
Sound Blaster Titanium (non-HD).
Asus Xonar DX or D1.

Could always sell off the Astro Mix-amp and buy an Asus Xonar DG sound card, $20 after mail in rebate,
and spend all your budget for headphones better then the Astro A40s

What is better between the Xonar XD and the SB-Z ?
I will consider the replacement of Astro A40s, for a bayer or a sennheiser headphones, but not the Mix-amp... I don't think it's worth.
