Hi, I recently bought a pair of KRK RP5g3. So far I've been using them with a RCA-mini plug adapter to my phone because every computer in my home has onboard sound and they produce interference noise.
So now I'm looking to buy some USB sound card. I'm not interested in the recording part of these cards. Regretfully, in my country there is a limited number of cards available within my budget, so if anyone can help me choose I'd appreciate it.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Tascam US-322
Infrasonic UAX2
As far as I understand the uax2 dac seems better than the tascam, although by a marginal difference, is it worth it? (tascam is 25% more expensive in my country).
Side questions:
- both of them seem to have unbalanced RCA inputs, can I use these with my phone/mp3 (with an adapter)?
- they both seem to have 4-channel outputs, 2 RCA and 2 Balanced, can I use these in the future for a 4.0/3.1 home system?
