I finally found an amp in a reasonable price range ($100) , namely the Mini/Super Mini amp, and I was wondering if anyone has connected the beyer DT770's to this amp. The 770 have a gorgeous bass when I listened to them in a audio store, but with a 250Ohm impedence, I knew that i would not be able to drive them with my portable. Any suggestions?

And more generally, what headphones (sub $200) have people tried with the mini and liked the performance. Thanks!

Philips HP890s sound wonderful through that amp. Damn....makes me wish I didnt sell them!
