whoever is buying from that HK geezer on ebayQUOTE]

Wich HK geezer? Cause mine are sure to be fake, sound like trash, and very different looking from my first real pair who was a gem.

My seller give me a total refund, so i was pretty happy about it in the end. Frustrating in the beggining, but now i know he didn't even know himself. Maybe the other sony he sell are legit.

Did someone that moded his E888LP get a solid, aluminium sheet instead of a paper cloth next to the pierced grill that protect the driver?
If so i think i have 2 pair of legit japan mdr-e888...

I just received mine two days ago and after 24+ hours of burning using my PCDP they sound awesome. Much better than the MX-400 i normally use. Bass was tight and the midrange was lush. Soundstage was good as well. Compares closely to my HD-497 in terms of sound signature. I think the seller from China is selling the genuine Sony earbuds. Anyways, I like what I am hearing from these buds.
