Axpona is in mid-April in Chicago. It's a massive hi-fi show with a lot of 2 channel amps/speakers, BUT, they also have an "ear gear" room that's basically a tiny version of a Can Jam. Meze, Campfire, Sennheiser, Ifi, Focal, etc, are all there. ZMF has been there in the past as well but I'm not sure if he's doing a full table this time. Even Warwick Acoustics brings a booth. I'm not familiar with local stores, but I will be at Axpona. It's cheap enough to attend for a day to get some listening under your belt! https://axpona.com/
