Hi all,

We wanted to introduce Apos Certified products to the Head-Fi community, a program that we’ve been running for a while on Apos Audio. When an item is returned back to us we work with our partners to refurbish it back to its original condition before putting it back out in the world.

This helps the audiophile community not only try new products but also provides community members with an option to purchase high-quality sound-producing devices at a discount. All Apos Certified products are final sale and they come with an Apos Certified One-Year Warranty.

There’s only a limited quantity of each Apos Certified product (often just one). They’ll automatically be marked as “Sold Out” when inventory is not available. We keep adding new certified products regularly to the site, so we encourage you to check them often.

Placed an order for Moondrop S8, which showed as in stock. Didn't ship the next day, I contacted APOS and asked why? Oh sorry out of stock for at least two weeks. Requested a refund and cancel the order, but they ghosted me. No response. PSA - avoid this company

Hi there,

Apologies for the mishap as the S8 became out of stock recently and the site was not updated accordingly. We were told by the CS team that the order was placed on the 7th and was canceled as per request today. Due to the volume, sometimes our CS team is unable to get to email and chat inquiries immediately but they make sure they are all addressed and provided the right information as soon as they can.

A warranty is no good if you don't pick up the phone or answer emails.
Absolutely the case here. They're blowing me off. My SMSL SU-9 Pro has the static problem and it looks as though I'm stuck with it. There's no excuse for this fraud. I'm having my bank examine these practices and I have disputed the charge under the "defective product" criterion. I am considering seeking out others with the same problem for a mass report to the California AG.

Apos resolved matters to my satisfaction. I now believe that their late response was due to shortstaffing rather than a business model. To replace the SMSL set, I went to a replacement equivalent with the Topping D90LE DAC and the A90 Discrete amp and ordered them both "Apos Certified." Here's where they did right: Apos were not able to provide the Apos Certified (open box or used and reconditioned) so they upgraded me to an unopened D90LE without charge. So far I am impressed.
