Not sure about the CD-R's, but try Bluetin.com for the MDR-E888LP. You should be able to get them for around $46 (a little over $50 once shipping is figured in).

good luck!

Gentlely? I used to take them on the T (Boston Subway) all the time, from my treck to and from college.

Others have reported that theirs broke way too easily.

Huh, well I kinda blew mine. The they fell apart but I though it was because I blew the driver. The grille/driver started to come out of the housing

Bought a pair for $50.00 shipped from the Chi-coms in Hong Kong no problemo on Ebay. Took 2 weeks; nice phones if you don't want a canalphone. Ditto on the fragility thing. Be frickin careful, one trip or the phones get caught on a door jam and and it's tears in your coffee time. (Shure E3c's built like a MIA2 Abrams tank)

Shure e3c 7.5
Sony Ex-71 6.5
Sony MDR-E888LP 6.5
Sennheiser Px-200 4.0
