KSC-75 and PX100 are bith hard to beat at this price point fior open phnes, and I have a great fondness for the HD201 but they may get a bit sweaty after several hours use,.

Ok... I can sorta see how the HD202 can be called fullsize. But the KSC75s? The CX500s?

Seeing lots of people recommend KSC75s/PX100s, with which I wholeheartedly agree with as long as we're talking about open portable phones. Also, OP could just grab a pair of RX700s and throw in some JVC Flats and still stay under the $40 cap with both a fullsize and a portable headphone

jvc harx700. extremely great valued headphone for its price. ive recommended these to all my non-audiophile friends and they love it
