My colleagues want me to organize a few headsets for the office. They don't have or even want to use headphone or microphone amplifiers and they all have laptops without soundcards either with one or two 3,5mm plugs. Because of this I guess it's ideal to have a USB one so that they can connect it both to two-separate and combination-plug laptops and so that maybe the headset can have a better amp/dac than the crappy ones from the laptop. They also don't want microphones and headphones separately and there are many people in our office so the headphones should be closed so that we don't hear their headphones and they don't hear so much outside noise (we also have much construction noise in our building). And they also don't want to spend more than 20-30 € (in Germany) but they don't care for sound quality as long as they understand speech in Skype & co.

Which headset can you recommend me?

I have truthfully never had a CHEAP office headset that I enjoy. They are usually stiff and have very little cushion, or they dont block much noise, or they dont work for very long, or a combo of the above.

Maybe something like this:

With a little adaptor that you can plug into a usb:

I know its a gaming headset, but they are usually comfy, have decent mics, and block out at least a good bit of sound.

Maybe someone else has tried more office headsets and could be more relavent to the situation, but I thought I would throw in my two cents. Or Euro in this case.
