I'm looking for a portable (dap or cdp) transport to use with my dac1 on occassion. I don't want to use it in any circumstances other than plugged in and acting as transport and I don't care much about the quality other than the output should be bit perfect. If it is a dap, it needs to play some lossless format, wav is acceptable. So my main criteria is cheap, well and obviously it has to have digital out. As far as I can tell, the iriver ihp-120 at around $200 used on ebay and the iriver/sony pcdps at $150 and up are it. I would be happy to buy something used if I could get like < $100. Does anyone know of anything?
