Hey all. Seeing the good deal on Amazon, I'm thinking about picking up a pair of the Beyerdynamic DT770 250Ohm cans tonight. As 95% of the music* listening I do anymore is either via my laptop or desktop, I expect I'll need an amp. (They both drive my Senn HD280s adequately, but I think the DT770 would be a bit much for them.)
I'd prefer a (AA) battery-powered amp since I use it with my laptop too, but cheapness is my goal. Nothing fancy. Want to spend less than $40 without sacrificing too much. Any suggestions?
Is something like the Behringer MA400 worth it/suitable or junk?
