I am buying a few cheap IEM's for gym use, where I exclusively listen to extreme metal.  What are good options for me to choose from rather than the stuff you find in the bog box stores that have that typical muddy sound that I cant stand.

I am flexible about going a touch over $30 if I can get the best bang for my buck.  Are these comparable to the MEE M9?

Check out Dsnuts Audio Technica ATH-CKM50A's thread. They were originally selling for a lot more but can now be had for around 30 shipped.

SoundMagic E10, you can find them around 35$, and they just are the best for the price.

I'll give you a great deal on the ckm50a's if you are interested. They have the filters removed and have been used about 3 hours total but if you want them And you are in the US I will send them small box priority to you for the cost of the priority shipping. Should be like 6 dollars US if memory serves correctly. Christmas in March pm me if you want them.

I vote for the Visang R03, I got one and it's become one of my favorite IEM's....

i recomend soundmagic es18 for $20 shipped, better than m9, and same drivets as e10.

The Soundmagic E10 is my choice for this price range and for the intended use. Bolt Thrower and old-school death metal in particular just sound so righteous on them.
