I really want to get an Sennheiser HD650, but I've read that it needs powerful amps.
 
Would the Fiio E9 drive it decently?
I also heard about the "veil" problem, and that it is probably caused of bad amping, would the happen with the E9?
 
If not, then what is the CHEAPEST amp that you would recommend for the HD650?

From reviews of this combination, and measurements of the E9, it looks like the E9 would work decently.
But if you are worried about the "veil", you may also consider the HD600 instead of the HD650.

I've got an E9 and HD600 and am quite happy with it.
 
I've thought about getting the HD650 and wonder if anyone has tried the Objective2 with it...
