So, if you happen to have a fantastic DAC and are looking for a decent but cheap transport for it (say, because you don't belive too much in high-priced transports), how do you determine which one is better than the other?

I guess you would first check whether it has a Coaxial out and not only a Toslink, but apart from that and build quality?

I am throwing a few examples taken from an online hi-fi store. Is one of these better than the others?

Tangent CDP-50 79 €
Sony CDP-XE370 139 €
Sherwood CD-5090 169 €
Denon DCD-500AE 175 €
Yamaha CDX-397 MK2 175 €
Onkyo DX-7355 199 €
Sony SCD-XE597 199 €
Tangent CDP-200 209 €
Harman Kardon HD-980 219 €

Thanks much!
