I bought a headphone amplifier that has RCA loop out but is not a preamp. I'm looking for a basic preamp that takes in a pair of RCA inputs and outputs with a nice volume knob. The RCA input to the preamp will be from the loop out of the headphone amplifier and the RCA output of the preamp will be going to my active speakers. My speakers' volume knob is at the back and are independent of one another so I need a preamp for convenience. I was looking at something like a FiiO E9 but it's a headphone amplifier which also happens to be a capable preamp; I need to do without the headphone amplifier part since it's unnecessary for me. Does anyone have any solutions?
