Matrix audio HPA-2C is worth taking a look at, it has good synergy with the HD800 and provides enough power.

Stretch that budget a little bit more and you can get the JDS Labs ODAC2 and Meier Jazz FF. Barring very hard to drive headphones down the line (or electrostats) you won't need to upgrade that amp anymore.
