The manual says that the power light comes on after it is done charging. Can anyone confirm this? I just got mine and after all night on the charger there was no light.

Yeah, you have to have the switch in the up position. When in the down position it will not be red no matter how long you charge it. While charging it will lightly blink and be steady when done.
