Charge controller replacement?

Does anyone know if there is a replacement part for the charge controller chip on Tangent's battery board? Digikey sells the one on the parts list, but I don't need 600 of 'em, and Newark doesn't seem to carry them anymore!

I have one I will give you. It is the SOIC version... I was going to use it for a onboard charger in a pocket amp... But, alas the best laid plans of techs and hacks sometimes go awry... PM me if you want it

I am also looking for a charge controller chip. I saw this thread 2 minutes before I would have posted my own.

If anyone knows where to source these, please let me know.

It's amazing how parts sourcing issues can screw up these projects....
