After attending a meet, I discovered that my denon had a channel imbalance which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I made some more modifications to the board with wonderful results. The initial channel imbalance was caused by a broken lead which I quickly fixed. I also bypassed all the output caps and transitors to amazing effect.
However, a small channel imbalance remains. There is less than 25 mV dc offset in both channels, but the AC signal is off by 3%. The right output measures at 1.01 V and the left measures at 1.04 V this is consistent across several different test tones. My guess at this point is mismatched resistors, but what else could be wrong.
