it's rathr simple; right clikc the screen... and it says display properties. there is a theme, appearance, desktop, settings, screen savor area. To to settings, and there are things you could choose: color, style, and font size. i have mine set for XP style and silver.

If you go into the Control Panel (I think that's what it's called) you can choose different themes and color schemes. At work, I changed the computer to Windows classic (can't stand the XP Fisher Price interface) but there were others in there, too. I think you can download more.

There is a silver theme:

Control panel > display properties > click on the 'appearance' tab > you'll see a colour scheme drop box > click the little down arrow > choose silver. Then click OK on the bottom row of buttons. Voila!

If you want truly custom themes, there is a more technical process needed. You need to replace a dll with another one. This allows anybody to make a new theme. Some are good and some are very bad
