I'm about to switch the opamp on the emu 0404 soundcard from the jrc2068 to the ad8066. Are there any complications that I should know about (I have pretty minimal knowledge in anything diy

or should it be pretty easy to swap? Just take the jrc out and the 8066 in.

Check voltages first. Are they in range for both opamps? Some soundcards use very low voltage opamps which has stopped me from putting OPA2604s in mine.

5-24 v. The original opamp has a range of 4-18. I have desoldered the output buffers from the card (which were also the jrc2068).
