Hi!

I wonder if anyone here knows if i changing cable on my SR60's will improve the sound on them? I'm pretty good at soldering, but I don't know what cord I should go with (that isn't to expensive), how to do it and if it's worth it?

I'll be happy for any tip...

Can I use a thin high quality speaker-cable instead of a dedicated headphone-cable?

Upgrading the cable on a pair of SR60 is like putting a V12 in a Chevy Cavalier. Just not worth it. Money would be better spent on upgrading the cans.

While the sound improvement might be minimal, it would be good to practice on SR60s and not risk pricier phones.

Why fix what's not broken? I think the SR60s sound pretty darn good the way they are right now. Better to spend the money upgrading headphones rather than trying to modify the SR60s.
